What now?
If you feel you could take on the challenge of caring, please give us a call and we will arrange for someone to visit and give you more detailed information regarding the task of caring for other people’s children.
You will be invited to attend a Preparation Group where you will get the opportunity to meet experienced carers and other applicants. At the end of the preparation period, you will be asked to make a decision as to whether or not you wish to apply to be assessed as a carer.
The assessment process includes Medical, Police and Heath checks. We do involve all members of your family, so it is important that you discuss your plans to foster or adopt with all members of your immediate family.
