Read moreThe Saddell Mill Bridge opened to vehicles up to 26 tonnes on Weds 18th December. Stabilisation works have been carried out and concrete testing confirmed the concrete has cured enough that the bridge is strong enough to support this weight of vehicle. We can’t confirm when the bridge will fully reopen to all vehicles yet as we will need to do further testing to the concrete to confirm it can support weights over 26 tonnes. For anyone north of Saddell Mill Bridge and south of Torrisdale Bridge we’re expecting to catch up on your bin collections this afternoon, or tomorrow at the very latest. Please put your bins out for collection.
