Rubbish and recycling collections over the festive period will be carried out on the normal scheduled day(s) with the exception of 25th /26th December and 1st /2nd January.
Arrangements for these days are as follows:
General waste bins due to be collected on Wednesday 25th December in the following areas will instead be collected as follows:
- Tayvallich and Achnamara will now be collected on Monday 23rd December.
- Bellanoch, Crinan & Cairnbaan will now be collected on Tuesday 24th December.
- Bridgend, Kilmichael Glassary will now be collected on Friday 27th December.
General waste bins due to be collected on Thursday 26th December will instead be collected on Friday 27th December.
Recycling blue bins due to be collected on Wednesday 25th December will instead be collected on Monday 23rd December.
Recycling blue bins due to be collected on Thursday 26th December will instead be uplifted on Saturday 28th December.
General waste bins due to be collected on Wednesday 1st January in following areas will instead be uplifted as follows:
- Dunadd, Slockavullin, Kilmartin, will now move to Monday 30th December.
- A816 Lochgilphead to Kilmelford, Ford road, Ardfern, Craobh Haven and Kilmelford, will now move to Friday 3rd January.
General waste bins due to be collected on Thursday 2nd January will instead be uplifted on Friday 3rd January.
Recycling blue bins due to be collected on Wednesday 1st January will instead be uplifted on Saturday 4th January.
Recycling blue bins due to be collected on Thursday 2nd January will instead be uplifted on Monday 30th December.
Commercial customers in Inveraray area due a general waste collection on Friday 3rd January will instead be collected on Saturday 4th January.
Commercial glass recycling collections due on Thursday 26th December / 2nd January will instead be carried out on Monday 30th December / 6th January.
Lingerton recycling and civic amenity site will be closed on 25th and 26th December 2024, and on 1st and 2nd January 2025.
