This service is available to householders (not businesses) from November – March for free uplift of electrical goods on Islay and Jura. If you wish to make use of this service please phone 01546 605514 around one week prior to the relevant date to arrange an uplift. All items to be uplifted are to be listed and items left outside on day of uplift.
November 2024 - March 2025 collections are now finished. New dates for November 2025 - March 2026 will be available towards the end of the year.
What can be collected:
TVs, video/DVD players, computer equipment, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, cookers, fridges, freezers, toasters, kettles and any other electrical or battery operated household items.
