You should receive an automatic acknowledgement as soon as you submit your application. If your application is complete a Business Gateway Adviser will be in touch within 5 working days. As a result of your meeting with an adviser (by phone or video) to discuss your application, further information may be required. Your adviser will then progress your application for approval or rejection by an independent Council Officer. We aim to make a decision on fully complete applications within 10 working days of your meeting with a business adviser, but this may take longer during busy periods. You will be notified of the outcome by email.
To be approved your application must:
- meet all the eligibility criteria
- show a need for grant assistance
- show a benefit to the business aligned to the aim of this grant programme
- represent a good use of public funds
